- The Basic PANS OPS course provides the essential knowledge on PANS-OPS ICAO Doc 8168 Volume II (Construction of Visual & Instrument Flight Procedures) and provides an overview of the protection areas and obstacle clearance requirements for the achievement of safe, regular instrument flight operations. The course includes both theoretical and practical aspects to solidify concepts.
PBN PROCEDURE DESIGN COURSE

- The PBN course explains the Performance Based Navigation (PBN) and Required Navigation Performance (RNP). It includes information on the components which are required for the construction of Area Navigation (RNAV) instrument flight procedures based on the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). A half-day introduction to RNP-AR will also be included. The course includes both theoretical and practical aspects to solidify concepts.

The course covers Free and Open-Source Software QGIS V 3.40 LTR for compliance with Doc 9881 by ICAO. It supports the transition from a product-based Aeronautical Information System (AIS) to data-centric Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) as per PANS-AIM (Doc 10066). The training focuses on utilizing Geographic Information Systems to produce digital terrain, obstacle, and aerodrome databases for electronic aeronautical charts and applications.
